Hi all,
Slimelight is presenting VNV Nation - i.e. putting them on - at the Islington Carling Academy (very near the Slimelight, in the N1 centre) on the 27th November '05.
TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE AT:

-Ressurection Records
-Musicnonstop.co.uk
Then Slimelight will have an aftershow party for the event at the usual Slimelight venue (Torrens Street).

vnv is electro(nic) music though, not what i would expect to hear on the "goth" floor on a 3 floor night.
what do you like to listen/dance to?

After waiting for a somewhat useless brother of my girlfriend, I now find that when he finally decides he doesn't want to go, its too damn late for me to get tickets for myself, not impress. If anybody has two london tickets that they find they now don't want/need I please contact me. Obviously nail was first, but the me :) please!

I arrived in London just in time to see my favourite band for the third time this year, and there are no tickets left?! Please, anyone, help a poor soul to salvation!
Send a mail if you have, or know anyone, or might now a friend who has a cousin that might have one or tickets to sell for the Islington Academy concert on Sunday!

naww look behind GOTH - its behind a random goth, hiding from the raver kiddies.
the goth then goes onto severe moping, while the raver kiddies flash their glowsticks (badly and out of rythm) in a manner that suggests that they are way worse than feared.

The add on the main slimelight page gives a price for non VNV Nation ticket holders, which in my mind implies that anybody can go. Although logic is not always the best thing to assume in these situations... :)

vnv nation, well thats a band nobody can ignore. if you do not know who they are then you are most likely not even remotely interested in what is going on in the so called goth/ebm/industrial scene.
nobody asks for anybody to like the biggest bands of our scene but how about roughly knowing a couple of the biggest names?

We should have one of those boards like jack Black has in School of Rock showing the different kinds of rock music and their relationships (obviously for more Slimes oriented music) :-)
Then they can test us on the door rather than worry about dress code

They used to do something similar ... the membership application forms used to some questions on them about Slimelight music ... you had to answer correctly to get membership!
