What did everyone think of the members only night at Slimelight?

I thought it was much friendlier and I had an amazing time!

well, kind of... the Chavs just wore black instead, I noticed quite a few on the middle dance floor *shrugs*

Maybe it takes some time until it works, but I'm definitely up for it :)

So the questions are, did the door staff actually turn anyone away? and did anyone have any problems getting in?

well i got in, didn't really have to beg, and i am going to become a member as well, so i will be going more frequently :)

i didn't so much beg, rather explain that i was having knee surgery (which, incidentally, is now TOMORROW... arghhhh!!) and that it was my last chance to dance my socks off...

but once the knee is better i will be making more trips down to the slimelight!!

well maybe the usual?

begging, bribing, offers for sex or and i think mostly likely they said please please please and told them that all they ever wanted was to go to slimelight etc ;)

not sure if i prefer a strict dress code inforcement or a members only inforcement... maybe both would be an idea but then it might become so restrictive that slimelight loses out on punters

i did not think that everybody there was signed in by a member or was a member themself. maybe it was more friendly but in one case a tad too friendly and i obviously dressed too much to impress ;)

not sure if that was a member if he was, he should not be one any longer!

I know plenty of people who don't "dress-up", but are still members. When I don't dress up, would you wanna throw me out? What about Flux?

It's a members club!! It was a members club 15 years ago!! Not everyone dresses up ... that doesn't make them Chavs & Townies ... live with it!
