Slimelight and X-Dressing

Whats the deal at Slimelight regarding X-Dressing, would a tranny get in just cos the're a tranny, or would they need to make an effort to look alternative too.
I only ask cos I can do the girly thing ok, and I can do the goth thing ok, but I don't think i can do both together?!

Basically would I get in ok as a glam tran in black?

Cross-dressing is alternative, so you should get in either way!

No idea on the entrance thing because I’ve only ever been once, though by the sounds of it it’s more a case of not letting idiots in than anything else, thus glam tran in black would be fine I suppose. :)

But why can’t you do the Goth and the Tranny thing? Myself, I’ve never cross-dressed without doing the Goth thing with it. Been told by other cross-dressers on mailing lists that I should try a more ‘respectable’ look but I guess I’m not respectable. :D

lol, that in itself probably says how bitchy some trannies can be. Heck, I wasn't recently informed that I shouldn't use or encourage others to use the term 'transvestite' or any abreviation thereof because it's setting up a derogatory image for us. :?
