i'm going to visit london between the 11th and the 14th of august ... just heard about slimelight ... and i really hope to get there!

BUT i've got a question: what's about the dresscode ... do i get in when i'm just dressed like jeans and shirt ... or do i really have to wear cyberwear or stuff... 'cause atm i'm bored of it! i can't see it anymore...

It all depends on who is on the door, and who replies to you on here. Yes, people have been seen in Slimelight in jeans (both blue and black). No, you don't have to be cyber'ed up (although it would be funny to see the goths try it). Normally, if you are kitted out in black, and look suitably "alternative", you shouldn't have too much trouble getting in, and shouldn't get any grief from the locals. Some people object to seeing jeans and trainers in slimelight, whether you are into the scene or not, some people don't.

My advice would be to wear black combats and some DM's/boots if you have them, and you should be OK. Far better to wear clothes that aren't what you would normally wear and get in, than wear what you want to wear and get refused. (I don't say that this is right, just the easiest way to get on)

Blue jeans and a shirt may well get you turned away. You don't need to go over the top, just make a little effort - basic black should get you in.

ok ... good... so i don't have to wear my new rock, my bondage pants ant thats stuff to get in ... it's enough to wear all black *eg* great!
