panic

As UK industrial / ebm scene is very small because people do not buy music (so many times people wearing Front 242 t-shirts have asked me what was the song i was playing - 'Circling Overland')
I thought it would be a good idea to let some of you know what's coming out. Please feel free to add to this, as I will not be posting regularly.
The following are all from Dependent www.dependent.de
Mind.In.A.Box - Dreamweb (album)
Dismantled - Breed To Death (10 trk ep)
Mind.In.A.Box - Certainty (cds)
Stormkern - Stand Up (cds)
Rotersand - Exterminate Annihilate Destroy (cds)
Rotersand - go up to the dj and make him play it. you'll be hearing this in years to come.
Stormkern - unmistakeably american, for the 'consolidated' fans
Dismantled - 2 songs remixed 3 times + 3 other - haujobb mix my favourite
Mind.In.A.Box - (single) not a great fan because of a 'messy' production. includes remix by seize (album) same as above
also:
- Vitalic has released an album with all the favourites (Pony pt.1, etc.)
- The B-52's are releasing remix eps (should be 4 of them), first one 'Whammy' remix is out
- Fischerspooner has an album and two singles off it out now. Much better electro than the 1st album. Very good.
- That DM song everyone is asking about can be found on, well, soulseek  (only when i lose myself, lexington avenue mix). however, buy the new 3cd dm mix album. some nice mixes on it.

actually mind in a box, no thanks...
but rotersand yes please!
also terror ebm yes please
weiber elektro no thanks.
i guess it is a matter of fininding out what the rivethead like... i know a lot are waiting for cool tracks by front 242 and wumpscut which you would normally only find downstairs but noiseheads like me are waiting for xotox and xebox and winterkaelte and converter...the softer stuff simply belongs on the lower floor nes pas?
look panic, i never though you to be a bad DJ, I THINK you did not understand that the upper floor has evolved as the lower floor caters for a lot of stuff that you previously played on the upper floor....
... i just think you should take people's changing sense of what is harder and what is not so hard ebm/industrial into account.
i know you can play more than fisherspoorer.... i know you do not like the ibiza gang.. so please shine through it and show us that you can go one harder than that without having to resort to covenant..
thank you.

okay it took me a while but i am loving the Combichrist, the new Xotox and (still) the Suicide Commando album.
maybe an idea to listen into the new X-fusion album thought his tracks are sometimes somewhat hard to dance to and maybe a bit of Noisuf-X which is the noise project of the same bloke ...
also as i have been told the new Grendel album, which will be on my shopping list for after my next payday. also holding out for both new feindflug and new funker vogt albums..one will see if they live up to their old style or if they have changed. :D
apart formt hat i listen to a german industrial internet radio fairly frequently, which gives me a good insight of what is about and what is being newly put onto the stomping scene.
oh and about the thing with Front 242.. i have seen how the dancefloor was actually cleared at some well known (yet unmentionable) industrial (no fucking about) club.. we comabatted that by dancing to it thoguh ;)
anyway, i am liking the new development ont he top floor with some old industrial thrown into the sets, makes the night quite an interesting experience.

No I haven't but thanks for the feedback. If I don't get it, probably Paco who will be going to Madrid soon will certainly pay a due visit to Rotor shop and get it and I will get to listen to it...:)
I realise that maybe I should have posted the following link instead of the previous one as here you can listen to some tunes...

These albums were both released last Thursday (22nd Feb)
The new album by Unheilig is called 'Puppenspiel'. They are playing The Underworld on 18th May and will be supported by the fabulous DUST, who happen to be managed by me. Go listen here: http://www.myspace.com/dustheads
ASP have released 'Horror Vacui' which consists of two CDs of old material, much remastered. remixed etc. I'm be playing a fair bit of it in Slimes. They are playing The Underworld on Sunday 9th March and are well worth seeing live. http://www.thetalesofasp.com/
