Morter - incidentally, it was nearly clean (with just William Burroughs and his friends having a go at sanity) - but then it starts speeding up halfway through and again towards the end - not to mention the slightly excessive volume. It ends with Uncle Bill reciting the intro from the film 'Freaks' by Tod Browning "We told you we had living and breathing monstrosities. You laughed at them. But for the accident of birth, you may have been as they are. She was once a beautiful woman."

Final detail: these cut-ups go on well into Francesca's set...

great! i suppose you have all those recorded? i wonder if the record of my set from about 2 months ago has survived? you remember, it was on the ground floor, you were 'loungin' in that orange car? incidentally, i've seen the car in broad daylight, i wouldn't fancy jumping in it again...

btw, i once (in 1997) did a set in madam jo jo's, three hours of pure experimentation, wish i got it recorded. all 4 channels up for 3 hours playing: turntable a) classical b) noise loops; cd a)+b) noise tracks; tape recorder - spoken word (mainly film dialogue - from star wars to film noir to bergman) + live set from noisex. i promissed myself i'll do it again, maybe on sat 26th at the gwendoline.

i haven't been playing at the slimes for about 10 weeks because of work commitments, so i did last two weeks (2nd & 9th).
