I am from Finland and coming to London on May 5-11th, 2005, for study trip. I'll spend my days running from art exhibition to another. I thought it would be nice to go out to party and meet new people at the end of the day. At least I am heading to Slimelight :) Could anyone recommend any other places worth of visiting or willing to become a guide? :)

Get a London tourist guide, and make sure you walk around the Kensington, and Embankment areas. There are loads of museums and art galleries and cultural things to see.

If you bring me lots of salmiakki, I might volunteer to go with you :)

I'm no so intrerested in cultural thigs, galleries etc, cause we'll visit them anyway. Something like seeing a movie or drinking beer could sound nice. And I love salmiakki, too.

If yer a Gothy type you could do worse than go to the Devonshire arms in Camden where you're almost bound to meet some Slimelighters. ...then you can figure out what to do next while drinking!!

To pick up the topic while it's still hot and some people are still around, I'm planning a trip to London for maybe one full week in the month to come. And I might even be staying for a couple of months by the end of this very summer.
My point is: any ideas, any suggestions as to where to hang around and enjoy a beer and some niiiice music... I know you know the one I'm talking about...
I already know the Slime and the Dev, no worries I'll be spending time out there, but still I'd like to try other places... don't tell me there aren't any other good metal or goth venues in London, I won't believe you!!!

btw, it was a lot of fun to read this topic... obviously we're all bound to cross each others' pass anytime we're around the same parts of the world, huh? :wink: Stick together, and keep rocking... :twisted:
Speaking of which, if anyone ever fancies a trip to Paris, let me know, I'm beginning to know quite a lot of places and a lot of people in the scene around here :twisted: and my rates for acting as a guide are quite low :wink: Special rates for Slime members :wink:
