anyone know of any good political bands? i was impressed by some of the stuff by massiv in mensch, velvet acid christ, snog, exorcist, chiasm, battery cage.. i'm looking especially for music that is gothic & political - anti-capitalist, socialist, anarchist, feminist, anti-fascist, etc. also stuff by womyn, people of colour, queer people etc.

Babyland for politics hands down.

Anything on the FATAL record label for feminist industrial stuff (eg, Hanin Elais, Nic Endo, Vanishing, Phallus Uber Alles)

Some more maybe when I wake up properly ;)

Didn't some band called Senser play Electrowerkz just a few weeks ago? ;)

One Minute Silence are also in the same vein as Rage Against The Machine.

Not really gothic but hey... what is goth? :P

winterkaelte ;) but the singing along will be tough... i woudl say its easier to sing along to the clash and new model army

i like political music though some of the stuff i like is a bit harder to place on the political spectrum. after all music is mainly for leasure for me and politics dont come into it that much, as far as i am concerned.
