I seem to have lost my avatar............ i cannot select it, or even upload a new one :(............ who has forsaken me.......... and why is it i cannot get my picture back.

Have you altered your profile recently?

As Mr(s) CrashDark pointed out to me, such aberrant avatar behaviour has been observed under such conditions, and this process can be reversed by

i) Clicking on Private Message
ii) Accessing Profile from there
iii) Uploading replacement avatar.

On previous occassions this has ben most succesful for myself.

Are you uploading it from your PC or from another site?

I have mine on my (work) machine, so upload it from there.

I used to have all sort of problems, and sometimes it won't let you "update" a profile, but if you try a few times, it usually does it eventually, but I have only tred when uploading from my HD
