theres a song that usually gets played during the trad sets, i have no idea who it is and its driving me crazy!! the best i can describe it as is medieavel rock, female vocals and something about "until the end of time"....

someone please tell me who this is!!?

Its Mother Earth by Within Temptation from the album Mother Earth.

Their new album The Silent Force was released recently. it is most excellent and heartily reccomended although you have to get it on import.

So thats what it was!

This was playing the last time I went to slimes and silly me didn't ask the DJ what it was.

i can't go to slimes without requesting it! i have the album and within temptations other album. love them!

Just to throw in my 'tuppence' worth....that song has illicited more enquiries to me, about what it's called etc, than any other I can think of!! (God knows why anyone would ask me about music but there ya go.) If you want it played DJ Loki is always happy to comply and if you need to know what time he's playing you can always ask at the office...or ask me, if you can find me. Of course, if you know Loki, ignore the above....just ask him yourself!!

only met Loki once but once met never forgotten. he really seems to love that song. as soon as i requested it he seemed enthusiastic to play it! hmm.... wonder if you have the play list for 1st Jan.... will go look it up.

Well what can I say :oops: (once met never forgotten) I hope that's good . . . do come and say hello next time you see me.
I do like Within Temptation and I should have the new album by next week.
As a rule I do try to play as many request that will fit in as possible; there never seems to be enough time to play them all. When I get an early set it's there I play the new releases and some of the unusual sounds.

will to mate! if you can remember back to jan i was the one that sat night with Terrorfel (Lee). he had told me about you beforehand and said you were cool. i agreed afterwards.
