reload it I had the same problem a little while back, but it was ugly so i don't blame them.

I am complaining because the fault should never have occured in the first place. The fact that a fault has occured is not down to me, therefore, it should not be upon myself to recitfy the situation.
I feel it is my right to complain as the end user of this website.

the question is, in the event that SP did indeed eat your avatar, would u prefer to
a) ask SP kindly to regurgitate the icon in question
b) create a new one
c) take 4 seconds to reupload it :p
being a long term member of Generation Blah that i am, i haven't even bothered to upload one in the first place, let alone lose it in the toilet, hehe. ooh yeh.. being lazy is finally working out for me 8)

I thought I would wait for SP to pass it, and see what was left!!
Creating a new one (or uploading the old one) requires finding a suitable image, and cropping it to the right size, and alas I am far too engrossed in my footie management game to waste time doing that :oops:
Hmm, I just went into my profile to update my sig...and my avatar has vanished too. I remember this happening before, so I went to upload it again, but there doesn't seem to be an option to do so(?)
If one of you without an avatar doesn't mind, would you be so kind as to reassure me that i'm not going mad & that option definately ISN'T there?

The option is there to upload an Avatar, even though it is not showing my pic in my profile area.
Go to Forum, then from there Profile ... the option is there!!
Cheers...I was looking in the main site profile.

It seems that you are eating and/or killing avatars to each other :lol:
The one of confusing things on this website could be presence of two different pages where you can change your profile.
One of them is in Your account > Your Info
And second is accessible from within the Forum
Forum > Profile (on top)
Forum > profile : have the option to upload custom Avatar and have extra galleries of Avatars to chose from.
Your account > your info : have and extra option to disable receiving News Letter and choosing avatar is not so comfortable.
If you want to report lost avatar please mail to admin@slimelight.net :mrgreen:
