ok, so im all set up for my first slimes visit : black baggies, black t-shirt, and a black feathery (cheap 8O )carnival mask.
The problem is that i wanted to get extensions put in, but my hairs too short, so i made a matching black bandana.
Its extra long and extends about 2ft down my back, ive started getting a bit creative and added strips of foam and plastic cable to it. Do you think it will look ok or should i scrap the whole idea?

Without seeing it it's pretty impossible to say.If it's any consolation there will be at least one person wearing something stranger.
Surely you can tell if it looks ridiculous or not when you try it on?

me = minimal imagination + low self-esteem, so i worry too much about what i wear.
But, ignoring that do you think it will at all hinder my chances of getting in if it looks a bit ''ragged round the edges''.

absolutely not. it's not as if everyone in there wears things like that on their hair. in fact, most people have 'normal hair' as opposed to outrageously big plastic hair pieces often sported by yours truly :P creativity should be encouraged. give it a go and see if you like yourself with that hair. it has to be practical tho, if you want to dance a lot, meaning you wont have to fix it every two minutes

Two weeks ago I baught a pair of this snowboard sunglasses that every cyber goth are wearing : it was originally a present for one of my friends which find it very cool when he came some weeks before to the slimelight with me. So I'll give it to him, but it was definetly the kind of thing he want to wear in a Slime evening so he give it me back (bastard;) . I was thinking that my hair was too short for wearing this kind a thing and the model was cheap and just good for gifts  ... I was fearing to be ridiculous.
But finally I get more or less drunk during the night and I wear it. It was not so bad at all and now I'm wearing it every week... So dont fear to be ridiculous : I've never seen someone ridiculous in the Slime (except of me...but it is an other story;) -

so having completely failed to go with my original headwear plans, i finally turned up at slimes over the last 2 weekends sporting a stovepipe up top with a green uv fall draped over my bag(as you do  ). to anyone who like me has no self confidence, just go with it, wear what u want and i guarantee all your insecurities will just evaporate when u get in:)
