-at last!- the mystery of the flock of bemused pensioners and their zimmerframes at the last slimelight has been solved!
-i did wonder what they were up to,but i didnt want to pry..

sekrets-the red dwarf movie has been in progress for roughly 10 years now,with it initially supposed to be brought out last summer.
i think its mainly due to budgeting-or the lack of.
i know theyve def got as far as a tiny bit of filming-but nothing considerable-and that was over a year ago.
ive given up trying to anticipate when or even if its going to materialise any time soon!-but then again if its anything like the last series i dont want to see it anyway :roll:

yeah id agree with you there. Red Dward 1 - 6 are classic, i dont think theyl ever be topped. Red Dwarf 7 was good and had its unique moments, clever in some places, but i think they just lost the plot completey on 8.

So is there definately going to be a series 9?

they've always said that season 9 would follow after the film was released-probably to take advantage of the attention they were hoping the film would create,but i dont know anymore on the matter.. :roll:

thing is theres only so many comparison gags one can take before the humour runs dry and you know what to expect,and because its been going so long its lost that novelty now
