Hello,
New member writing here. Thinking about coming to slimelight one day. Would have to go by that dress coad though.
Don't place myself in any type of class though. I dig any music that's unique. From ELO, Boston, Puffy AmiYumi, Tiny Tim, Spice Girls, William Shatner, Weird Al, DEVO, KISS, Adversus, Sisters of Mercy, Monkees, Tom Waits . . . anything intersting = cool. Why just put yourself in one style of music/thought when there's so much different stuff out there, I say.
Any thoughts and/or comments for me. Do respond and Dare to be . . . .

ahhh be nice, i think he has not tasted the sweetnes sof the EEVIL NOIZE
must assimilate ;)
well either that or he odes what he does...
but what makes me wonder is, why dont you got to a townie place, who play maybe 80ies cheesy charts?
yes the dress code is very strict...
NO WHITE trainers and no chatting up the rivets ;)
no seriously try not to be too non-black/gothy and try not to wear white trainers as they are extremly offensive so some of us and might be frowned upon...
nice black shirt, nice black jeans or leather trousers or nice black PVC will open you easy peasey every slimelight door on th evening :D
PS: iam sure the selection of music he put was the playlist from Chicagos
http://www.chicago-rock-cafe.co.uk/
... which was a total torture and i would have under NO CIRCUMSTANCE ever gone there again... the things one does when freshly in love.. sheeesh...

Hello,
My imagination is always on fire. I have a nice selection of Gothic music in my collection but that's not the only stuff I'm into. There's so much wacky wonderful stuff out there, so I like what I like. Why not listen to some KMFDM, VNV Nation, or the Cure and pop something like Twisted Sister, Men without Hats (pop goes the World . . . got to love that one), or Geri Halliwell for your next choice. I do and have a fun time doing so.
Life is so full of variety and can be fun choosing a variety which gets one into a cool creative or just happy go lucky time. The same goes with movies for me. I can sit and watch something like a Clive Barker Hellraiser movie and then watch the Thunderbirds or Ren and Stimpy later. It's all about variety.
Which brings me to Slimelight. Looks like a cool place to check out. So, I just might do that, if not, prehaps can engage in entertaining conversations with some of the people who visit this site.
In anycase, please post resposes. Life can be very entertaining. Man, i need to drink a Coke and eat a piece of Chocolate cake right about now, prehaps I have some General Public or Pauline Murrary laying about somewhere.
Do post your responses. This can get rater interesting.

Hello,
Check out what I found. This will be something to talk about. Talk about strange and stupid. Check out www.bazarrecords.com
Loads of insane stuff can be found on this site.
By the way, could anyone give me some background of slimelight. Do many people smoke cigarettes there? Is smoking losing it's popularity? It's so expensive and unhealthy. Also, what's the vibe there?
A cool band to check out is SPF 1000. They have a special remix you can get if you buy their CD and use the barcoad on the back. It's the Haunted Mansion remix of their song Haunted House. The remix uses samples from Walt Disney's Haunted Mansion ride. Really interesting stuff. Check out their website at:
www.spf100.net
Keep the responses coming.
By the way, anyone remember the movie TRON?

The two comments above are a prime example of having a lack of an open mind. Like I give a crap.

Hello,
Getting a bit naughty . . . well I guess that could be cool depending on the circumstance . . . anyway here's some music that I find completly revolting:
John Tesh
Cline Dion
David Hasselhoff (however you spell that name)
That guy with the pan flute
Richard Marx
Air Supply
and the prince of darkness himself
Kenny G
That's some of the most awful stuff I could think of (my opinion anyway). There's no way in hell I would own any of this crap.
-Comments are welcome!!!!
