Well, if you were a neutral fan , then it was a really good film, but if you were a predator and Alien fan then it was a bit lacking at the best of times., still worth a watch for the experiance.

If I was twenty years younger I might give a shit about this film...I'm not, I don't, BUT I do have a question....
(If someone could answer this without ruining the 'plot' for anyone who does want to see it) Doesn't the nuclear explosion shown in the telly advert give away the ultimate ending of the film????

It enlightens you to some unansweared questions about history, but the sequences in the advert (if memory serves about the ad) is not the ending sequence of the film.

Thank god for that...I thought it might be a classic of misguided advertising...however this doesn't get AVP off the 'load of crap' accusation that seems to be prevalent in reviews from those who have seen it!

I personally thought it was quite good. Nice concept, added padding to Predator & Alien history, nice twists, better than Predator 2 and Alien 3.

Well you can say exactly the same about "Exorcist-the beginning" boring, annoying, flat, as exciting as fly fart!
better to avoid and go and watch "Finding Neverland" instead.

AvP had a fairly weak plot, was patronising (yes, I do know what Metric is, although you obviously don't because a minute is not a metrix measurement), and the acting was poor. On the other hand, it was very cool to see all the action. :D

Numerous things I'm tempted to let spoil it for me, but it's just a case as taking it for what it is, not a classic or supurb piece of film making, but something to entertain yourself with for a little while :)

It could have done better, but worth watching none-the-less
