If I remember correctly you click on profile and then mess around with your Avatar control panel until something works. If you're uploading just make sure it's no bigger than 80x80 and less than 6kb. Personally I opted for linking to my own offsite avatar; 6kb is tiny.

i suddenly seem to get asked for drugs a lot in slimelight.... i wonder why there is all of a sudden so much interest in that sort of stuff, as if the music and the weird people are not enough... well and maybe the occisional glass of dry riesling :)
