Slimes is highly likely...predictable (as rivetmike said). However, if anyone has a good suggestion (hint, hint)....

Do you really need to ask!? :D

yes because i sat in a boring pub in brighton, with the only other people i knew not even speaking to me... though in good company (my man) but it was all a bit boring to be honest as pubs are seriously not my thing....

new years even previous, i waited all night for my then partner (a different one to the current) and he then carried on ignoring me, so i went out for a walk in a dodgy area at night in the hope somebody would kill me.... the year before then, i was being ignored by my guy (same as the one mentioned) at rock city, getting bored by shit music there....

the year before that i was in germany, walking through the snow, losing a ring of mine when throwing snowballs ...

... you see...

i NEED an exciting NYE for once!!!!

Last New Years I was so shit-faced on booze & drugs, by about 4 I could barely sit up straight in a chair (or so I am told). Was absolutely munted at Mucky Pups in the morning as well.

It's an odd kind of New-Year's tradition, but I guess Santa needs his shirt washed/ironed after his big night? ;-)

Why on earth were you ironing a shirt on New Year's Eve?

Oddly enough, I actually did spend several months, many years ago (admittedly NOT NYE though), looking for said monster...before realising it didn't exist....so it's Slimelight for me...again!!

Guy13

I have to say, despite being packed to the rafters, Slime is a good place to spend New Years Eve, and it's a darn sight cheaper than most places in London!

Here's a tip....buy tickets in advance to avoid disappointment (and make getting in a hell of a lot quicker on the night if us lot are doing our jobs right!!).
I'll push to get tickets on sale asap...that should help you decide.

Believe me, DO NOT LEAVE IT TO THE LAST MINUTE!!! 8O

I did last year and ended up having to ring Slimes office all day on the 31st to see if any tickets were going on sale on the door and then had to queue from 9pm! 8O

well lets put it down to disorganisation, being at home, family going out, and mother asking me to do the ironing for her as a joke, wich i didnt understand so....me being the MAN of the house, with my family out at some disco, and you lot raving it up and my friends being turds i brought the new year in ironing,

i did have one can of fosters,......but i dont drink, so i raised a toast to the new year with tropicana orange juice, no bits in my glass 8O

I am going to visit my family and friends in Germany and new New Year’s Eve I am celebrating with friends.

But I haven't got any plans for Christmas yet. I am going to Germany on the 30th of December. Unfortunately I cannot go earlier. :(

What are you doing ? ( in case you don't celebrate with your family)

Lidl rocks! There's one here where I live and it's really cheap. They definitely have it in my branch. It's where my mother and aunt go shopping (my aunt is German...I forgot to tell you that, Snowwy). I get stuff from there too when I'm in that part of the locality. :D

People. if you could persuade my "better" half that Slimelight is not the only place in the world, I would be happy to either

a) Go Loch Ness Monster hunting with Flux

or

b) Go to Magna with Lilblu

I have a strange feeling that in fact, she will have her evil way and I will be at Slimelight again
