I'm fed up with this ongoing feud with Skylizard. I'd rather just exist on this forum in peace, but it seems that I cant voice an opinioin on anything without being taken the wrong way, weather this is intentional or not, I dont know, but I think you guys should just lighten up a bit.

As far as I can trace this back, this seems to have started over a misunderstanding, a comment I made saying that something Skylizard said might have been taken to appear as racist:

god more South Africans, there like an STD you can't get rid of.

lol, some might take your comments as racist :p

And that would qualify as racist how?????

etc etc. Well its obvious that i wasn't being too serious there, but why is it now that when insults are thrown at me, they are light hearted fun, only joking etc, but when i am blatently not being serious about something, a fuss is made? I think its silly. why cant we just be civil towards each other?

or you say things that are light hearted and when they react in a lighthearted way, you get your frillies in a twist?

Actually, you could come up to me and offer to buy me a beer.....that goes for anyone reading this, I am always open to offers of free beerage.

My normal approach to resolving "conflicts" such as these is the trusty PM, that way either person can apologise or tell each other to fuck off without it degenerating into another forum slagging match, everyone knows where they stand, and no-one has to publicly back down/lose face

[Not that I am implying in anyway that either of you have done anything wrong, need to apologise, need to back down, or any other such thing]

And as for two blokes kissing, not my thing at all.

The irony was obviously lost on you,to be fair you would not know this to be ironic but Skylizard is our resident friendly (most of the time) South African.

The majority of regualr posters know Skylizard so this is why what he said could in no way be construed as racist.

There are a lot of them about though.....;)

Yes I know that now, but at the time I didnt, and I wasnt taking him seriously anyway.
