Hi

I'm a french boy of 18 years old.

I want to find a job in London as far as possible, and, of course, a place to sleep.

I've already searched on classic websites; but with my baccalauréat ( something like your A-Levels in Literature & Languages ) I can't find a job.
Finally, I try to contact the "alternativ London";

So, if you could help me, in finding a job or any other kind of help, I will be really gratefull.

I once worked in london as a security guard. I noticed that the job was popular with foreigners too. You dont really need any qualifications, and it pays quite well (depending on where your working)
So its ideal for anyone whos coming in from another country, to get a foot on the ladder :)

Yeah security is a good start.

Just make sure you have a clear police record and alot of referances. at least 5 years worth. They seem to be getting stricter these daze...err days.

It's very strange, but the "daaaark" community of London seems to be much open minded than her french reflect...

The problem with your (very good) idea of job is that I've never worked, in France or in England ; I've never get any matters with french justice, but this will be my first professional experience. Do you think that it that can be a problem?

unfortunately, I have since left full time employment to become a humble student. and i dont know exactly who runs what security where now.

I know there are some agencies around for security, and other jobs if youd prefer. maybe worth looking into, but I dont know any specifically. you could try searching the web for them or maybe someone else from this forum can provide details if they know of any?

I hope that someone could help me :roll: , because after 3 weeks of intensive research on the web, I have'nt found any kind of job which can be good for me :
All the proposition need an experience or specific qualifications...

well put it this way, there will be A job somewhere that you could get straight away. It all depends on how low on that ladder youre willing to start off...
