Okay so we start a thread for Noise heads who can recommend new Noise industrial bands that they might find.

First one ;

Xotox - Band is a cross between Converter , PAL and NoiseX

Second:

Industriepalast - WinterKalte, Converter, MS gentur style band

My turn:

Synth-Etik Drum & Bass rhythms a bit like Needle Sharing but more prone to the occasional outburst of noise, tis very good. (Hands)

And not really noise but......

Dark Runner a greek EBM band that deserves a mention here as they are one of THE noisiest electro bands I have come across recently, ultra distorted singing (if you can call it that) and loads of samples/melody lines that you jusy know from somewhere else but because they sound so wrong it is hard to place them.

Check out 2nd Gen and Zan Lyons, not really industrial but very noisy and original. Also 2nd Gen's new outfit Uniform whose first single is just out and is fantastic. Ahhhh there's so many good noise acts but I'm running out of time and will come back with more later. I'm still waiting for the first proper good noise-speedcore-industrial-goth act...

Agreed the 2nd Gen CD I have on Novamute (Irony Is) is blinding, the album is full of speaker worrying tracks like "Musicians Are Morons" some of the basslines are really fucked up :)

New CD by Combichrist is also top stuff too, musically it's about halfway between Soman and Dulce Liquido (not really that surprising seeing as they are all from one of the best and most consistent labels around at the moment (Out Of Line).

Useless bit of info,it's the side project of the singler from Icon Of Coil!!! (but is much much harder :) :))

Good choice, all very good CDs . Most of TMO live set is taken from the album you ordered.

are black lung any good????

its one of them doesnt sound very good going by the name, and what ive heard is abit iffy but they have been around for a while and have some releases on AntZen so..... any suggestions as to a good album or something...?

electrotribe

black lung, hmm, depends what you want out of it really. not wanting to start another debate, but 'silent weapons...' is simply the best cd to listen to on acid!!! his very latest stuff has been bit more movie soundtrack-ques, if you know what i mean. middle albums tend to be more noisey, early stuff more experimental. 'disinformation plague' is a good one to start with.

any other comments :?: :P

think that the metropolis site (http://www.metropolis-records.com) has some on. if you're a member of emusic then they have the whole of 'the disinformation plague' album for download. if you're not a member of emusic then i'd recommend joining - for the price of one cd a month you get access to a fair bit of decent stuff (most of metropolis records and invisible records are present on the site), and best of all is it's LEGAL :D

On the subject of French bands, try MICROPOINT - Anaesthesia International (dunno what their other albums are like, more dancey I think) if you like fast dirty technoey stuff (with lots of fun cuts from The Matrix, mostly agent Smith lines)

Punch Inc, been around for a while but only got to hear of them recently........they are excelllent, cross between Converter and Winterkalte.
Harsh noise soundscapes with underlying tones of heavy techno beats.

anything on Hive, Hands, Crunchpod, Ant Zen..

Personally I'm loving:
Exclipsect
Terrorfakt
Converter (duh)
TMO
Tha Pu[s]sy
Manufactura
c/a/t
Leichenfeld
Mono No Aware

An excellent starter pack for n00bz would be the FUCK compilation from HIVE Records.

At risk of being a total whore, if you like the noize you would probably also enjoy my own Endif: http://www.endif.org

You can't really go wrong with the Hands roster.

My faves on said label have to be:

Winterkalte
Proyecto Mirage
Needlesharing

And a CD that is practically glued to my player is

Pow[d]er Pussy - Six Ways From Sunday

Anyone wanting to get an idea of the EEVIL NOIZE should get the Form of Hands compilations.

yes agreed, i liked Geistform a lot at the Maschinenfest.....

... where you there too?

did you see MsGentur last saturday?

if you ask me:

he was BLOODY GREAT!!! ;)

shame that he was so knackered afterwards, a bit of a big bash to do an early show in manchester and a late one at the slime...

I wasn't at either, but saw MS Gentur a few years back at WGT and it was an awesome set then, so can imagine it was good at Slimelight.

I see you are speaking about french bands...

I can't resist to speak about one of my favourite labels : it's not really noise (low bpm) but it's very intelligent and indus :

Millimetric Data

My two favorites french industrial "bands" on this label are definitely Millimetric,
and, on Brume records (other industrial label), Oil 10

Have a look at the young label "La Chambre Froide" which have some good produkts too
