Urgent: Looking for movie title

Hi,

a couple of years ago we spent a lot of time in the Gossips, where strange
movies have been shown on some TVs. I can't get one of the movies out of
my mind ... it was a very strange one, probably from the late 70s where a
group of people followed a sort of Messiah in a very strange landscape with
large stone boulder / balls. The Messiah climbed on one of the boulders and
held a speech. All people have been dressed very very strange ...

Does anybody know the movie title?
