If you ever have that problem again, ask for me (Fad) and I can use the opportunity to indicate to the door-staff what constitutes 'alternative', beyond just wearing black. The 'bouncers' are merely doing their job, trying to keep away those who wont fit in and ruin the night for others, and can't be expected to know one band t-shirt from another...I, on the other hand, can!!! No excuses, a Nitzer Ebb shirt and combats IS appropriate!
This wont prove to be a problem once the door staff come to recognise you as they're a decent bunch really...and if they're not...well, the world is full of gorillas!:)
(I suppose I'll be made to regret that statement later!)

Ahh too kind my friend, too kind. Didn't get a chance to visit the gloomy underbowels this time round but there was Ebbness aplenty on the middle floor. Let Your Body Learn was a good excuse to do just that!
