hey :D

...i bought a 'neo-goth' 3cd compilation from resurrection yesterday and have fallen in love with a song...

Its called 'Video Kid' and it's by a band called The Birthday Massacre

[Ive been on the web and the only place i can buy an album is from their homepage in canada - worse still, the album this track is off is now out of print and you can only buy the download :os]

Has anyone else heard of this band? what do they think of them? and do they know where i can get my hands on their stuff in england?

thank you lovely people :D

Wow, this was posted a loooong time ago. I just registered for this site, and I am a big fan of The Birthday Massacre. I saw them play in November and they are incredible. In December they re-released Nothing and Nowhere which has Video Kid on it. If you are still interested you should definitely check that out.

I love The Birthday Massacre... it feels like you are listening to a dream. The minute I came on this board I was actually going to post about them, until I saw this thread.. ;)

My favourite songs would have to be Under The Stairs, Happy Birthday and To Die For... ^-^

Hmm, they're pretty good!

I found their CDs available on the international amazon website. I might just get it as soon as I can afford it :D

WOW,

I really like TBM, I was given a copy of both albums by a friend a while ago and loved them so checked out the web-site, it was really cool and Fairytale like.

TBM have a fantastic website. I listened to the album a while back, wasn't entirely sure about it... might give it another listen though, as they seem to be well-liked.
