What's that song that seems to get played (usually by Mak?) on the top floor that sounds suspiciously like Ministry - Just One Fix. It was played as the last song on NYE. It probably is Ministry, it sounds too recent to be one of the Black Box remixes, I can't place it! Or it could be someone ripping off Ministry - anything is possible these days!

Ministry rules, does it sound better than Thieves! Don't forget that Al Jourgensen features in quite a lot of bands, might be one of his spin offs.
Never knew that they played that kind of music at Slimelight!
Have you heard of a band called "Wumpscut" Would kill to see these guys live!
Is it you...!

Guy. Singular. Like Madonna or Aphex Twin. Rudy is 41 and I very much doubt he's about to start touring now! You never know though.
In any case it didn't sound *like* Ministry or *like* Just One Fix, well... it was either a remix, cover, sample or distinct rip-off of the track. At least I'm pretty sure it was unless I'm going mad, which is entirely possible as well. Especially given that I asked Absinthe and Antagonist this after NYE and they both looked at me like I was talking gibberish - which is also entirely possible.

Fear not Alexander, you aren't talking gibberish... this time :p
I do know the track you mean, I just have no idea who does it. It's definitely not a Jourgensen spin off, that much I can tell you. Sorry I can't give you any better idea mate, I'd ask Mak next time he plays it.

You are not imagining it, I have heard it several times too and thought, is that just one fix, then narrr. Alas I also do not know what it actually is though so the mystery continues!

Sometimes Mak does his own "mash-ups" I have known him do some interesting things with NIN - Wish in the past, could it be a Mak special?

I'll call Mak tomorrow and see what he has to say.

I've got one more request actually, if you don't mind me hijacking your thread; I also have a sample for this one.

It's one of the tracks that Simon plays quite often on the top floor, it sounds quite similar to Varta by Moctan but is not. Can anyone help?
