How many of you actually bother to use the chat if you see other people on-line at the same time as you??

well, i usually bother goin in the chatroom as i work nights and i'm usually quite bored.. not that there's ever anyone in there though..

Well i've just been there and tried to have a conversation with blink, typing away like a demon and nothing appeared!!! boo I say so I left. :cry:

Yeah, it seems to be a bit fussy about which browser you use, among other things. I couldn't see my messages appear when I used Safari, so on the occasions that I check out the chatroom, I use Explorer.

But I've only ever encoutered one other person there - and that was when I was struggling with Safari, so I gave up.

Chat can be pointless & tedious - sort of 21st century CB radio - but then no-one forces you to enter the chatroom. And a few of the conversations I've had in the Slimelight fall into the same category... :wink:

I've just posted a suggestion in the Slimelight feedback forum, suggesting that an indication of the number of active chat users might encourage people to take a look. If I knew someone was there, I'd be more inclined to duck in & say hi.
