Yes folks in continuation of the highly successful festival last year they are doing it again. Starting this week with Mike Tukeshi' - Guzo (director of Audition and Happiness of the Katakuris) he is opening it all up again. Hopefully it will be as good as last years.

Have any dates (from "**" til "**")?
Extreme cinema in general is really cool but the Asia stuff is definitely among the elite as mentioned with BR and Chi The Killer on this forum :)
Don't know if I'll be able to make it with being so busy but I just might.

Here's a list of all the films listed and when they're showing in the Shaftsbury Avenue UGC Cinema...
because I can ;)

30th July -- Gozu
13th Aug -- Tale of Two Sisters
27th Aug -- The Phone
10th Sept - The Isle
24th Sept - Save The Green Planet
8th Oct ---- Into The Mirror
22nd Oct -- Chaos

Wouldn't mind checking most of em out actually as they look entertaining...not sure about the cost tho...
Ł8.50 a film from what I can work out 8O

No not Friday, me and my AsiaExtreme film partner and now the GF make the regular trip on Wednesdays, realitively quiet and can pretty much sit anywhere. If you guys want to do the same then you are more than welcome to.

See what you mean but whenever I travel up central it's never free (even if the movie pass is) ;) and seeing as I have not seen the first and I'll be taking trips to cinema quite frequently over the next month (what with this Asia extreme) I'd rather save my popcorn cash.

Yeah it was a tiny cinema.Film was very good though an old fashioned horror that relied on tension and story rather than gore or FX.

It had us all talking about it for a good while afterwards too.

My personal theory is that the Moog was responsible for the whole thing. Evil Moog....

It was a good movie, most enjoyable, and a refreshing change from Hollywood stuff!
