Okay so it's not due to be released here for a couple of months I think, but has already come out as a DVD release in the US and I got a copy to borrow to watch tonight, so lets hope it's at least watchable.

I saw a trailer for Hellboy in a lecture at uni before we fisnished for the summer a couple of months back it looked ok. Trailers are always hyped though so I await some kind of review. I usually check out a film anyway unless it gets a majority bad vote but it would be nice to find out what you think.
With regards to Battle Royale II I remember seeing that in another topic and remember us all hearing it was a disappointing sequel. Seems like it's really living up to those poor reviews.
I'm still waiting patiently for Punisher to come out on the big screen here. I've had the chance for some time now to see a rip but I really don't want to give in to that temptation lol...see if I can hold on just a bit longer!

Well i did get to watch it last night and was rather surprised, wasn't to bad actually, worth another watch on the big screen when it finally comes out.
Still waitng to see BR2.

It's true but not for a long while yet.

Remember that bit in the film?
Every film company is buying up the rights to all the different comic characters...Miramax has chosen Blunt Man and Chronic. Maybe it was a sign of things to come!
Are we seeing a case of comic book madness with all these different films coming out?!
I mean there's Cat Woman too which I will not be seeing *yawn*

Managed to watch Hellboy yesterday, and have to say I was quite impressed/surprised too! Wasn't really expecting much from the film to be honest, but it was actually really quite entertaining, and the visual style & effects are worth a mention too...

I rather enjoyed Hellboy myself. Probably because i didnt expect much from it.

I would like to see the Sandman Chronicles put into a decent film. Might be interisting to see the outcome of that.
