hi all.....
is alittle late in the day but here's info on an event i'm involved in happening this tuesday (20th feb) at the ICA....we're re-enacting the infamous gig by members of Einstürzende Neubauten in 1984 who were joined amongst others by Genesis P Orridge and Frank 'Fad Gadget' Tovey...the plan of the original gig was to drill through to the secret tunnels that lead to her royal maj's palace on the mall....the gig itself was stopped around 22 minutes into the set because of security fears by the ICA security and an ensuing riot took place firmly placing the gig in musical history.....the re-enactment has been meticulously researched and we're following the original score written by marc chung down to the tee.....expect chainsaws, breaker drills, banyo hammers, cement mixers and angle grinders....i'm playing the role of frank tovey and will be on drills and vocals....will be a visceral night....
