I saw this a while ago and while I like the concept of waking up and finding out all the people I detest are turned into flesh eating zombies I didn't find it terrifying. Yet yesterday I had the joy of standing behind a couple of people in the dvd rental shop talking about it like it was the single most terrifying film on the face of the earth. Come on really! Did anyone really find it frightening?

It's a great film but terrifying? No I don't think so but then again has anyone ever seen a film that they were terrified of?

No, although 'Funny Games' did have me poking other people in the room as I was becoming slowly dubious about the fabric of reality around me....

Yeah I can understand that ;) There are films that can be thought provoking, cause slight uneasiness but I fail to see how anyone (over a certain age) can be truly terrified of any movie.

Maybe I am just teh hardc0re ;)

Aww bless Ollie had bad memories of care bears...it's ok they're finished now...I can barely remember them myself to be honest.
Actually maybe those care bears did do something positive for you because you're all happy when you see lots of lovely bright colours :)
Those care bears might just have been what influenced you without you even knowing!

I hate to say it i saw this on a big big screen. And i thought it was a beautiful and utterly petrifying movie.

Masterfully timed and briliantly shot.

I remember at the time saying that
I was pissed off someone else had made it because it's the kind of movie i really would like to make.

But what do I know. Maybe it's more gripping if you're a londoner?
