The money I save by not going to Slime anymore(therefore not going out at all as I am very strict with music) I save it and travel.
Every two months to a different european capital...
Yeah! Nice!
Love Venice.
Now. I already was in Bratislava on my visit to Vienna and thought would never go again...
But then Martin came up with his Festival and here we are, The Spanish Mafia (as he calls us), going there.
I suggest you go. It is a nice cheap place and you have the very unexpensive festival!!! Going via Salzburg (Ryanair.com) will make you save and cross through Austria by train. It is worth it and only takes 5 hours!!

i know the feeling, i also don't go out to Slimes that much anymore, and the also the money saved entertains me on visits to Foreign countries o enjoy what they have to offer. Maybe oneday we can persuade SP there is more to London than Slimes, but i don't see this happening anytime soon.

well I have to agree o the saving up and going abroad, my next excursion is to Krefeld - Düsseldorf for Maschinenfest. It looks like a good lineup sofar!

http://www.maschinenfest.de

maybe flag promotions should take heed. I just saw the lineup for Black Celebation this year, and its looking rather shallow.

Just my opinion.

having been to Forms of Hands and Wave Gotik Treffen-(the last day in particular) this year my eyes opend to something bigger and better, thus taste in music has shifted. I really think the Germans are in control of the scene and are always ahead in one way or another.

But sadly something tells me that people will safely shuffle around on the dancefloors to the safe sounds of goth and ebm for many moons to come. With exception to a few Dj's and punters on the industek floor at slimes... its all pretty much "retro"!

I've had my say, fire at will......

Must agree with you totally and with the advent introduction of Glowsticks to the Indus. floor the shuffeling will stay the same.

My tickets are also ordered up for Maschinenfest and yes the last day at Haus Auensee was awesome, but the again when has any day at WGT been disappointing.

Now RivetMike must just pull finger and make a plan to join us at Maschinenfest....... Mike you know it makes sense, B/angel will come to if you book the tickets. If leave is a problem you can always fake the Black Death

You ain't getting me with that one,I know that joke you are gonna fart ;)

I agree with everything you both say (must admit the Sunday at Haus Leipzig was rather spiffing too).Much as I would love to come to Maschinenfest I just don't think it is likely.

you're danm right about the germans having a headstart on the whole scene, my boyfriend is german and my cd collection has never looked better! Seriously, the amount of clubs and festivals over there is amazing...

...we were going to Woodstage this year but sadly, funds ran out. I think organ-selling is the way forward! My barely-alcohol-tainted kidney should be worth a bob or two! :P

HI IndustrialTribe!!!
Thank you very much indeed for the nice pictures!!! It was lovely meeting you and people in this festival.
For me it was an excellent festival with top bands, great atmosphere, beautiful weather, pretty town and very unexpensive as well(pints of beer at 50p and taxi back to the hotel Ł2.50!!). And Easyjet will have flights straight to Bratislava very soon...
English is not widely spoken but it is not a major problem at all as Slovak people are very friendly and respectful and make the most to understand you and make themselves understood...
I would highly recommend everybody into Industrial to keep an eye on the next Resistance Festival as it is promising if it carries on in the future...
Congratulations and thank you to Martin for Resistance Festival!!!!
And thank you again, @nne & @rno!! See you soon in any other place, maybe at the free Industrial Festival planned for Madrid in February... Who knows... Keep an eye here www.beliomagazine.com
