Fans of Lord of the Rings may like the new upgoming film out December the 15th called Eragon.

http://www.eragonmovie.com/

It's the first in a trilogy and it stars Jeremy Irons, John Malkovitch, Robert Carlisle and some other bods.

It's about a dude who is destined to be a dragon rider and lead the oppressed people in a revolt against a shitty arse king (Malkovitch).

I think Satan's lil helper is saying she does not like Lord of the Rings and thinks no girls like it for some reason that I do not get and that Eragon should be alright if there is at least one dragon in it...

Well I love LOTR so much that I got the extended version and... Hold on... I am nearly a man, am I??:p

Would like to hear feedback from that Eragon too. I like Epics and Fantasy.

I didn't see it, but my sister who did (and watches loads of films) bashed it for not having much in the way of quality characters or meaningful plot. Then again she admitted that she only went to see it because she wanted to see how good CGI dragons they had, so she knew beforehand that there wasn't much to expect.

From the trailers it looks likes it's aimed mainly at kids as an audience, so I'll see it with that in mind. I doubt I'd like it if I expected it to be aimed at an adult audience...

Didn't my last post make sense then?! Did to me maybe I have my own language lmao!

I was reading a review of it in The Guardian I think & it said it was mainly mirroring coming of age & teen sexual awakening. It's very masculine & the dragon is suppossed to represent women. It was a much less than impressive review.

I'm not (really) a feminist but it kinda put me off seeing it. If I wanted to see a load of blokes swing their cocks around I could just go up the city on a sat night!

If any1 actually sees it tho........lemme know what it's like as I haven't spoken to anyone who has yet!lol!

Rumours from the ghetto.... written by a 16 year old.... symbolistic of men coming of age.... written by a 16 year old....

Can't say I'm dying to see it!! Think the production values will decide if this film is worth 2 hrs of you're life...

As a girl (last time I checked) I love LOTR's trilogy.

Loved the books as a child and think the films were made brilliantly and stayed true to the original text.

Now I've said that I'd better go and check that my lady bits are still there and a penis hasn't sprouted in it's place.... lol
