the others look like youre trying too hard to send messages through your work-this doesnt have any over the top imagery/symbols its just a lovely little kitty!..no more no less!

dont take your audience for fools-people can pick up on subtleties a lot better than you assume! for example you know in the simpsons they have little jokes that you only get because you know what theyre reffering to? be it a tv programme,song etc?

umm one good one was when marge was on the run,and there was one minute we see her thought bubble and in it is an image of a white picket fence,and behind it a grassy knoll with marges blue hair sticking out the top...they dont tell us that she assasinated the jfk but they insinuate it-and its funny if you get it.but not everyone gets it

make it your aim to use little references like that in your work and itl go down a storm-youve got the passion you just lack a suitable theme of content

and anyway youve watched enough movies to chuck character or their weapons in and already youve done it!

you know what i mean? i can elaborate believe me i could go on all day! hehe!!
