Well heylo out there, came across this website and boy have i been going down mempry lane. Used to go to slime every week for about 5 years from 1990 till about 1995. My name was frankie and used to hang about with alot of folk in the cage ( till they moved the bloody coat room there ). Went with J and Brian and Sile and Dave and crap there were about 30 of us that all met up in the early days. Now am trying to think what was the american girls name that used to run the cloak room :? and i used to give her a hand sometimes.

Anyone thinks they remember me give me a holler :)

God i might even go back down soon and try the old slime out again.

:twisted: Talking of remembering people does anybody remember James AKA Lola worked the coffee bar and often dressed in the Doris Day pink outfit. Also Tiny Simon or Fran. Tiny was always wearing red and black denis the menace sweater, simon was often seen in red pvc thigh boots cape and matching under wear. Fran wore something different every time but more often than not pvc rubber or just trousers or a skirt and breasts with a buitiful dragon on her left breast. Does anybody remember them or still know them. Emma blue hair used to go out with Scouse as far as i remember he was a mobile off licence Ł1 a can all night. the slime was not always at this venue i seem to remember it being at holborn at some point in the eighties or has old timers disease finally caught u with me? it was Ł3.00 entrance for members in the good old days and bring your own drink. There was a vip room and masses of shagging in the toilets. i remember a girl who was obviously losed based on the flowery dress and shoes being most upset when a man walked out of the "ladies" I was really pissed and nearly fell over laughing when she realised there was no such thing as ladies and mens in the slime and it was even more funny when she waited outside a toilet with a couple shagging at the top of their lungs. oh those were the days when anything goes and the moreout rageous the better.

Yeah, whatever did happen to James and Scouse (having said that, I believe Scouse went back up North long ago). I guess they were part of the Blue-haired Emma 'posse' and hence drifted away when she buggered off to France...but I'm probably getting the chronology mixed up. Last I heard, James had gone all 'surfer' I believe, so no more Marilyn etc, which is a shame...he was a bit of a Slimelight landmark for a while there.

As I remember it there were 2 cross dressing' James's' - the very hilda ogdan james & the very pink james - of whom I just came across a photo of. He was good mates with Fran.

Fran has gone on, I heard, after a stint living in Sweden (could be wrong about that) to have a minimum of 2 kids, maybe 3. Wonder if they are pink & sparkly too.

Simon has finally managed to hold down a job (hooray) & has a mortgage.

Tiny has been beset with health problems - diabetes related, lives in north London somewhere & could probably do with being told he's been appreciated.

Raverbaby, don't know if you remember Australian Girl goth Shane who went out with Simon after Fran. She 'married; Tiny. She too has reproduced mutliple times (sometimes with Simon...) She's doing well in Oz, on her way to being a property mogul.

I have some classic old photos but since they're not of me I don't think I could post them here. One of scottish Adam (RIP) I could probably post since he can't object but I have many more of many familiar faces - & a few who look familiar but I can't place.

Considering how many 'old timers' have gone on to be breeders there should be a photo section for the 'next generation'...

Not really an 'old-timer' as I was never a regular, but I used to do Slimes or Marquee or LA2 after gigs when I was up in London fairly regularly about, meh, eight or nine years ago.

I didn't know that many people on the scene then, but I have a couple of friends from Uni that I know were a lot more into it, and I'm wondering if anyone knows what they're doing now. They were more on the scene in Southampton, but I know they did Slimes a fair bit too.

They're Ella Penfold, who was verry, verry goth, and used to do egyptiany style make-up a lot and Nicky Entwhistle, who was a bit more metal and stompy.

If anyone remembers these names, or knows where they went, I'd be grateful for info as I miss the old gits.
