It's so strange it's transformers mania at the moment!
I remember back in Infants' school we used to come up with different versions of the song (most didn't even make sense but hey we were just kids)...ah the memories.
Just recently me and a couple of bandmates, who are on the same course at uni, finished a sound design assignment where we used the intro scene to the Transformers movie. We had to do a supportive and subversive mix of it. We should try n post the subversive one on the net somewhere it's pretty funny. We used clips from Alan Partridge, The Office and The Big Lebowski (sp?).

Our band's programmer Paul got me listening to it...there was a track on some Tidy Boys cd he played and it was pretty cool. Was some McGuyver remix of something and it had a famous classical piece sampled in it. The words "be my victim" were also used.
More into EBM, Indus-tech n Industrial type stuff in the electronic genres but this track just really stood out...hmm anyway back to topic lol

TO FLUX: If you find any more Transformers stuff do let me know because most the other HybridiuM members have a real childhood passion for it lol...I sent ur link to Paul and he thanks you for finding it out.

It's like Trapdoor...so many people I know used to watch it. I really would love to see that come back or repeat again it was top notch. It was great when that big red monster thing made an appearance after a bit and boney made friend with him. He was called Rog. Seemed really mellow like he was a bit of a stoner...kids TV often has those underlying references! lol

I take it those banned eps are dowloadable...I heard all about Rainbow's a few years back but nothing about those others. They sound real weird though I have to say!
If only they did a banned trapdoor and maybe even a Postman Pat one...how my child mind would have been warped if had ever seen those at such an age lol :P

but if i remember right i couldnt stand rainbow of capait Pugwash they were shit but yeah i did like trapdoor and transformers but now almost every ones like oh how i love blar de blar and how they have watched it all there lifes

I was only remenissing I don't watch the kids TV stuff from when I was yound except for the trapdoor vid I've had years coz there's bits in it that make me laugh like that little spider thing and Rog. I have to agree about Transformers though I did see some newer ones briefly over summer back home last year and it was dire!
It's sometimes nice to see the odd TV show from when you were a nipper just to see how much things have changed. I mean Knightmare for instance. I remember seeing that ages ago when I was still in single figures and I saw it was on Challenge. It looks terrible now.
It's one thing to talk about these things and another to be as obsessed by it as you were as a kid I agree there but everyone thinks back to various things like that I don't see what the big deal is why you're against that :?
