I am confronted with the following dilemma:
1- Stay in London this week end, go to Slime, celebrate a friend's birthday and enjoy the visit of one of my best Friends who is coming to the UK this week end and whom I miss terribly...
2- Go to Download Festival, where I have been invited to go by another of my best Friends who spare a ticket for the VIP area with access to the backstage... Metallica, Killing Joke and The Prodigy are my favs of the lineup... Oh and Opeth! And Alice in Chains...

I so can't help you with that one missy... but I'm torn too, especially as I really should go and support Cryonica babes Swarf. Have a party to go to this end of town... and I really should be establishing a base of friends here but.... Gah!

Except of course... Killing Joke kick ass!!! Go and see Killing Joke (and the Prodge etc!)... hang on a second... does that mean I'm supposed to be going to download. No one ever tells me these things.

Has to be Slimelight. Apart from Killing Joke and Tool the rest of the Line Up is weak. (Sorry cant stand metallica and Guns N Roses will prob be a no show)
And as an added incentive i'm gonna be at Slimes this week as i got the Weekend off work yay

Gaaahhhh!
How on earth did you manage to get access to VIP tix to Download??!!
Metallica are one of my all-time faves (seen them live 35 times already) and I soooo would go to Download if I had the Sunday off work, plus if I had VIP tix, no decision to be made...
Download would win, easy :)

It kinda puzzles me how Alice In Chains can be playing ... they have no singer!!
And Guns & Roses ... they have no band!!
I must be soo out of touch with the rock/metal scene now!

Download me thinks, you can always see ur friend some other time, n slimelight will still be there next weekend - unless something DOES happen on this '666' day?!

Things are getting pear shaped for Download. I just prefer to spend all the money I would spend by going in yet another course...
Unless I win a car today, the 2 VIP passes go to another Friend of mine who has a heart like a big shinning star... I don't know if I am happy or sad about it.

it's all about being in the right place at the right time, I guess. Besides, you've been VIPd for Metallica before! you've had your turn, little miss.
*hmm... to call [killing joke] or not to call...*

Festivals are once in a year, VIP passes potentially once in a decade and Slimelight every weekend. I wonder why there's even a question.
I'll be going to Slimelight though. :D

I am staying here since I did not win any car the other day. Seeing that friend of mine whom I very much miss, I wondered why on earth I was even considering the possibility to go to that Festival in the first place. He is far more important that a VIP ticket to any Festival. I am glad I am staying. Besides, I dislike camping... :)
Candyfloss, the ticket for Nitzer Ebb is already in my hands since ages ago...
Byakiam, your question is therefore answered...
