So, anyone seen it yet?
Is it any good?
Is it worth 8 quid?
Or should i invest that money in two bottles of chardonnay?

Just saw it today. I thought it was good, though maybe not the best thing ever. Visually very nice and had many neat winks for people having played survival-console games in general and Silent Hill the game in particular. Don't know if it would be worth 8£ though, my local theatre does students for 3,75£. Then again, if you're going to blow the money anyway, I'd say it's better than Chardonnay. ;)

Definately worth a watch. It's miles better than I thought it would be and suitably creepy for only a fifteen cert.

Great soundtrack (as with the games) too :)

Aye, defintely worth checking out...plenty to keep the fans of the series happy, while still having enough to please those who've never heard of the games.

*Could've* been a little creepier, but overall it's an entertaining flick :)

I definitely recommend watching it! I haven't played the game, but the film proved very interesting and entertaining to me. It was satisfyingly creepy, and should also appeal to those who seek gore.
I liked it even more because of the dread-filled feeling on the streets of Silent Hill, with unknown horrors awaiting behind every turn...reminded me of my own dreams!

I'd say that Silent Hill was a surprise for me.
It's a fantastic game to movie translation and this is what I was expecting from Resident Evil to be honest, comparing the two movie versions is like chalk and cheese. SH has eye candy in abundance as far as CGI goes and stays true to the game as opposed to R.E, wich is basically a perv-fest for Milla Jovovich fans.

I'll go sit in the corner now.
