I've noticed that in the Recent Posts section on the news page where it shows the date/time of the last post that the timestamp is in BST, but in the forum itself the post is timestamped 1 hour before, obviously still working on GMT. Is this a "feature"?

OK, I've just looked at the bottom of a forum page and it does say "All times are GMT". Is there any way to get a "BST" added to the timestamp in the Recent posts section to avoid confusion, or would that widen the column too much? News items do have GMT or BST appended to their timestamps already........

Isn't there the option in one of the profile screens (there are 2 just to confuse things) to get times displayed in BST +/- x hours?

Yup, there is indeed, and it works, too, thanks Blink :D

No more having to unconfuddle myself coz got out of the habit thinking in GMT when I no longer needed to for the boxen I was responsible for.......

phpBB:At present this forum do not support daylight savings only standard local times. Therefore during summer months (depending on whether your nation/state switches to daylight savings) the board times may appear to be one hour behind the real local time.
Unfortunately I cant do much about this, If you dont feel comfortable to live 1 hour behind  , please go to you Profile (from within the forum) and set your time GTM +1
